Details:
1. The waterproofing project on the roofs of the Materials Science Laboratory is scheduled for Friday, July 5, 2024, from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM. The operation involves the use of a crane to hoist and remove existing waste equipment and construction materials. During this time, some parking spaces in front of the Materials Science Laboratory (near the track and field area), the parking area at the entrance of the Materials Science and Technology Building, and one side of the roadside parking will be temporarily closed. Traffic control personnel will be present to maintain one-way traffic. The affected buildings include the Materials Science and Technology Building, Materials Science Laboratory, Alloy Laboratory, West Campus Dormitory, and the Guest House II. Personnel and vehicles are advised to avoid the area if possible. If the area must be traversed, please ensure personal safety and follow the instructions of the traffic control personnel.
2. The construction area is shown in the attached diagram. During the construction period, there will be noise and inconvenience due to machinery operations. We apologize for any inconvenience caused.
3. During the construction period, unrelated personnel or vehicles should avoid the surrounding area. Please follow traffic control measures. If it rains, the construction will be rescheduled.
