Outage Time: January 5, 2025 (Sunday) 6:12 PM ~

Affected Area: First High-Voltage Substation (mainly Circuit D) — See table below for details.

Reason for the Outage:

1. An unexplained trip occurred in Circuit D of the First High-Voltage Substation, causing a power outage within its supply area. Emergency repairs were conducted at 6:49 PM, restoring power to all circuits except Circuit D.

2. Further investigation is required to identify the fault in Circuit D to expedite repairs. A list of affected buildings is provided in the attached table.

3. During the outage, all departments, dormitories, and related units in the affected areas must:

Unplug all computers and laboratory equipment.

Disconnect power from distribution panels and switch boxes.

Ensure electrical safety and prevent potential damage when power is restored.

Estimated Repair Time: Repairs will start promptly once the problem is identified; however, completion depends on the on-site situation.

We kindly request all relevant units to implement appropriate response measures.
