Power Outage Time: January 20, 2025, from 00:25 AM onwards
Affected Area: Currently, all buildings on Nanda Campus are without power except for the Physical Education Building, Building N, and the Continuing Education Building.
Reason for Power Outage:
The main substation at our Nanda Campus experienced a failure of the 22.8KV/11.4KV transformer, resulting in a power outage for all buildings supplied by the main substation. The three buildings mentioned above are directly powered by high voltage 22.8KV and cannot be connected for use at this time. We will contact relevant vendors in the morning to formulate a response plan.
During the power outage, all departments and dormitories in the affected area must ensure that all computers and experimental equipment are unplugged, and that power to distribution panels and switch boxes is disconnected to maintain electrical safety and prevent potential damage to equipment when power is restored.
Restoration Time: Further announcements will be made after we develop a response plan with relevant vendors.
