Power outage and restoration time: 4/4 (Saturday) 21:00~4/5(Sunday) 13:54
Power outage areas: Currently, all buildings on Nanda Campus are without power except for the Comprehensive Teaching Building (Building N), Continuing Education Building, and Physical Education Building.
Reason for power outage and things to keep in mind:On April 4, 2026, a short circuit was suspected to have been caused by a squirrel at the main substation of the National Taiwan University campus. This resulted in a grounding fault in the power output coil of the 22.8KV/11.4KV transformer, causing a power outage in all buildings. As the transformer needed to be returned to the factory for repairs, a temporary transformer was put into service and power was restored at 13:54 on April 5, 2026.

Repair time: Further announcements will be made after the manufacturer's testing.
