Power outage time: next Monday to next Thursday (10/23-10/26) from 11 am to 5 pm daily

Power outage range: Dormitory Cheng, Yi, Qing, Xin, Hong, Xue, Confucianism, Li, Ren, Shi, Shuo, Xin, Hua and all sports venues

Reasons for power outage and precautions:

1. The North Campus (covered by the first and second high-voltage stations as shown in attached figure) is currently powered by the first high-voltage station. However, it has a load current limit. Overloading will cause a power outage in the North Campus.

2. Because the weather forecast is still hot from next Monday to next Thursday, electricity demand during peak hours will exceed the power load critical value. In order to maintain the regular teaching and research in the campus, and to ensure the regular operation of the dining areas (snack bar, Shuimu Life Hall, Fengyun Hall) and the main electrical station, we have to decide from next Monday to next Thursday (10/23 -10/26) to turn off the power of Dormitory Cheng, Yi, Qing, Xin, Hong, Xue, Confucianism, Li, Ren, Shi, Shuo, Xin, Hua and all sports venues from 11 am to 5 pm daily to minimize the impact of power outages.

3. The campus has set up power-saving supporting facilities (as shown in the attached table) and provides air-conditioned space for students to study. Students can use it if necessary.
