Notice of sudden power outage at the second high-voltage station in the afternoon of 1/14
Power outage areas: Shuimu Restaurant, Fengyunlou, Huazhai, Shuozhai, Renzhai, Shizhai and Xinzhai
Reasons for power outage:
1. On the afternoon of January 14, the new cable from the second high-voltage station to the power plant of the school was short-circuited by the Xinzhai substation, resulting in the protection station jumping off, resulting in the impact on the power supply range of the second high-voltage station except Wanghong Hall. At present, except for some of the G-circuit buildings (Shuimu Restaurant, Fengyunlou, Huazhai, Shuozhai, Renzhai, Shizhai and Xinzhai), the rest of the power supply has been restored. At present, the General Affairs Office of the school will work with the manufacturer to clarify the reasons for the short circuit of Xinzhai substation.
2. All departments and dormitory-related units in the power outage area must unplug all computers and experimental equipment, and cut off the power supply at distribution boards and switch boxes during the specified time, to maintain electricity safety and avoid possible damage when power is restored.
3. In addition to requesting the correspondent dormitory units within the power outage area to respond as soon as possible, announcements will also be posted at the entrance and elevators each floor, apart from notifying via email. If any relevant matters are completed ahead of schedule, the electricity will be restored earlier. We apologized for any inconvenience this may caused to your unit.
Repair time: It is expected to be repaired within 6 hours (before midnight); but it still depends on the on-site replacement situation.
