Power Outage and Restoration Time: January 20, 2025, from 00:25 AM to January 20, 2025, at 09:32 PM
Affected Area: All buildings on Nanda Campus are without power except for the Comprehensive Teaching Building (Building N), Continuing Education Building, and Physical Education Building (see attachment for details).
Reason for Power Outage:
1.The main substation at our Nanda Campus experienced a failure of the transformer coil in the 22.8KV/11.4KV substation, resulting in a power outage for all buildings supplied by the main substation. The three buildings mentioned above are directly powered by high voltage 22.8KV and cannot be connected for use. After coordinating with the vendor to urgently deploy an existing high voltage transformer originally scheduled for transport to Kaohsiung, arrangements were made for installation after obtaining road permits from Hsinchu City. Installation began at 7:00 PM, and after passing electrical safety inspections, power was restored by January 20 at 09:32 PM.
2.As of January 20 at 09:32 PM, power has been restored to all buildings on Nanda Campus.
