Power outage time: 8/20 (Wednesday) 12:00PM to 9:00PM

Power outage areas: Administration Building, Classroom Building, Library, Applied Science Building, Arts and Design Building, Sports Complex, Center of Student Activities, Second Center of Student Activities (First Floor - Dining Hall), and Student Dormitories (excluding the General Building, Continuing and Extension Education Building, and Physical and Health Education Building).

Reason for power outage and things to keep in mind:

1. Our university will be replacing the main transformer at the Nanda Campus's 11.4kV main substation. To minimize disruption, a planned power outage will be conducted on August 20th, from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM. This outage is necessary to dismantle the existing leased transformer and install the new unit. During this period, all buildings on the Nanda Campus will experience a power outage, with the exception of the General Building (Building N), Continuing and Extension Education Building, and Physical and Health Education Building.

2. All departments and dormitory-related units in the power outage area must unplug all computers and experimental equipment, and cut off the power supply at distribution boards and switch boxes during the specified time, to maintain electricity safety and avoid possible damage when power is restored.

3. In addition to requesting the correspondent dormitory units within the power outage area to respond as soon as possible, announcements will also be posted at the entrance and elevators each floor, apart from notifying via email. If any relevant matters are completed ahead of schedule, the electricity will be restored earlier. We apologized for any inconvenience this may caused to your unit.

Repair time: It is expected to be repaired within 9 hours (but it still depends on the on-site situation).
