Notice of power Restoration at second high voltage stations on October 25th
Power outage time: 10/25 (Saturday) 23:45~10/26 (Sunday) 06:10
Power outage areas: refer to the table below
Reason for power outage and things to keep in mind:
1. On October 25th, 114 at around 11:45 PM, a fault in the I circuit caused the MOF2 protection device at the electromechanical center to activate, resulting in a power outage. After 2-3 minutes, circuits E to H gradually resumed power supply automatically, but the I circuit (including Engineering Building 3, Engineering Building 4, Materials Science Building, Materials Experiment Building, Alloy Steel Plant, and Delta Building) remained faulty.
2. Upon inspecting the I circuit lines and the substations of each building, it was found that the cause was the substation of the Materials Science Building being located outdoors. Continuous rain had caused the insulators inside the transformer to become damp, leading to a power trip. After baking and spraying with an insulating agent, the I circuit gradually resumed power supply at 6:10AM.
