Power Outage Areas: TSMC Building

Reasons of Power Outage:

1. Power maintenance service provider of our school found there was abnormal discharge of voltage regulator in the substation of TSMC Building with immediate danger when they were inspecting. Ordering the voltage regulator is time-consuming (about 2 week), so we schedule a power outage on the morning of December 25th to bake the voltage regulator and spray it with insulating agent in advance. We will arrange a separate time to replace voltage regulator after we get a new one.
2. During the power outage, the relevant units of the faculties and dormitories in the power outage area must unplug all computers and experimental equipment in the jurisdiction, and cut off the power supply of the switchboard and switch box to maintain the safety of electricity and avoid the impact on the equipment when the power is restored.
3. All offices (including colleges, departments, graduate institutes and dormitories) should well prepare for the power outage in advanced, please inform all personnel via email as well as post the construction notifications at the gateways. We will complete the construction and restore electricity as soon as possible. Thank you for your cooperation.
