Reasons for Outage & Important Instructions

  • Annual Maintenance: Scheduled periodic maintenance and safety inspection for all high-voltage substation facilities and equipment across the campus.
  • Equipment Safety: During the outage, all departments, institutes, and dormitory units within the affected areas must unplug all computers and laboratory equipment. Please also disconnect power supplies at distribution boards and switch boxes to ensure electrical safety and prevent potential damage from power surges upon restoration.
  • Notification & Restoration: In addition to this email, physical notices will be posted at all building entrances and elevator lobbies. If the inspection is completed ahead of schedule, power will be restored early without further notice. We apologize for any inconvenience.
  • Estimated Schedule: The end time stated in this notice is an estimate. Actual restoration time will depend on the day's technical progress.
  • Contingency Planning: If your unit has scheduled important meetings or activities during this period, please carefully assess the impact and prepare a backup plan or consider rescheduling to avoid disruptions caused by potential adjustments in the work progress or restoration time.

Your cooperation in making early preparations is greatly appreciated.
