Power Outage Repair Schedule Notification for the 11.4KV Main Station at Nanda CampusPower Outage
Power outage time: 4/4 (Saturday) 21:00~
Power outage areas: Currently, all buildings on Nanda Campus are without power except for the Comprehensive Teaching Building (Building N), Continuing Education Building, and Physical Education Building.
Reason for power outage and things to keep in mind:
1. A short circuit is suspected to have been caused by a squirrel at the main substation of the National Taiwan University campus, resulting in a grounding fault in the power output coil of the 22.8KV/11.4KV transformer, causing a power outage in all buildings. The transformer manufacturer has been contacted and an on-site inspection is scheduled for April 5, 2026, after which countermeasures will be formulated.
2. All departments and dormitory-related units in the power outage area must unplug all computers and experimental equipment, and cut off the power supply at distribution boards and switch boxes during the specified time, to maintain electricity safety and avoid possible damage when power is restored.
Repair time: Further announcements will be made after the manufacturer's testing.
