Location: General Building II (including the exterior wall area near the bus shelter).

Duration: Monday, June 1, 2026 – Monday, August 31, 2026.

Reason for Construction:

    1. Project Scope: In coordination with the "Electromechanical Center Power System Voltage Conversion" project, work will include the removal

        of the existing generator set, installation of a   new  unit, crane hoisting of the rooftop cooling tower, and rerouting of the exhaust pipe outlet at

        General Building II.

    2.Crane Operation Warning: This project involves high-altitude hoisting of the cooling tower and generator units (to and from the rooftop).

       During crane operations, traffic control will be strictly enforced in the surrounding area. For your safety, please stay clear of the designated

       exclusion zones and follow the instructions of onsite safety personnel.

    3.Public Notice: Information regarding this work is available on the university website and posted at nearby building entrances.

    4.Schedule Estimates: Completion times are estimates based on daily progress.

(1)Early Completion: Scaffolding will be removed and normal access restored immediately without further notice.

(2)Weather-Related Delays: Hoisting operations are highly sensitive to strong winds or rain. In case of adverse weather, operations will be

     postponed, and the completion date may be adjusted accordingly.

5.Environmental Impact: Construction-related noise, vibration, and odors are unavoidable. If nearby buildings or laboratories have scheduled

   important meetings or instructional activities,  please assess the impact and prepare contingency plans.
